I am looking for a J. C. Coker, he seemed to have disappeared in Fort Worth around 1921-22. City directories have him, in Arlington Heights. But, Tarrant and Texas have no death records. Does, your family tree have J. C. Coker (initals only) approx 24, born approx 1899 or 1900. Thanks

Genealogy of the Vaden and related families is a book I am interested in purchasing. This book was written by: Tennie Elizabeth Vaden Winn in 1970. According to my information she is now deceased, but did live in the vicinity of Fort Worth, Texas at one time.

My Grandmother asked me to find an obituary on my fathers uncle, Roby Richard Kennedy. Upon reading it, I found out that he was given an award for arresting Joe Newton. He actually shot Joe's accomplice. I was wondering if you could give me any more information regarding this arrest. Thank you, Renea Ward

I am searching for the names of four of the eight wives of WINFIELD SCOTT, JR., son of WINFIELD ELVINGTON SCOTT, the Texas cattleman, real estate developer, and owner of Thistle Hill in Fort Worth. Information has the wives thus: Gertrude Lane, Charlotte Quinn, Jessica Patterson, Ruth Crow, Unknown, Unknown, Unknown, and Margaret Unknown. I am searching for information on CHARNER ROBERT BAKER SCOTT JR. who lived in Texas, but about whom nothing is known. He was the son of CHARNER ROBERT BAKER SCOTT (1854-1902), son of SAMUEL HADEN SCOTT and CATHERINE DEGRAFFENREID of Lawrence County, MO. The elder Charner was a brother of WINFIELD ELVINGTON SCOTT, the cattle baron of Fort Worth, TX. In family papers, Winfield questions another brother of his whereabouts. Serepta Elizabeth Johnson (b. 1858, Izard county, Ark): I am requesting exact date of birth, city of birth, and occupation of both parents and children if possible. When my parents divorced in 1934,was the last time I saw my father,Roy Groves.I know from S.S.death index that he died in Forth Worth in 1968.I have also heard that he had a weather-stripping or heating business of some sort there during the 1950s-1960s.Does he show up on any of your city directories for those years? Hi, I am trying to find some information pertaining to a church which sat in the 3000 block of NW 26th Street, between the Macie and Robinson Streets, in Fort Worth, Texas Currently an elementary school is bulit on this site and we are in construction to expand the school, There is some questions as to a vault type struction found under the parking lot and it is thought to be an old bapistry.
